Families of fighters, bereaved families and families of abductees are expected to build a sukkah at the event in the Gaza Envelope.

On Sunday and Monday, the holiday of Sukkot, a large-scale event is planned near the Gaza Strip, which attracts a lot of public and political attention. Senior ministers are expected to attend the event, including Minister Bezalel Smotrich, Minister Itamar Ben Gabir, Minister Mai Golan, Minister Yitzhak Wesarlauf, and Minister Amichai Eliyahu.

"The presence of ministers along with the thousands expected to participate express the great public support for settlement in the Gaza Strip," say the organizers.

In addition to the ministers, Knesset members from the coalition also confirmed their participation in the event. Among the members of the Knesset who will come to the event are Avihai Bovaron (Likud), Osher Shekalim (Likud), Eli Dellal (Likud), Ariel Kellner (Likud), Hanoch Milbitsky (Likud), Tali Gottlieb (Likud), Limor Son Har Melech (Otzma Yehudit) , Michal Waldiger (Religious Zionism), Moshe Psal (Likud), Nissim Vatori (Likud), Zvi Sukot (Religious Zionism), Keti Shatrit (Likud), and Shashon Guetta (Likud).

"The event is planned not only as a theoretical conference, but as a practical exercise and practical preparation for renewed settlement in the Gaza Strip. The growing public support during the Zionist movement for the return of settlement to Gaza emphasizes the importance of the move and that it is the only solution to the security situation," say the organizers.

Support for settlement in Gaza is not a new phenomenon. Last January, at a conference held in the nation's buildings, many thousands came together with 11 ministers from the government and expressed their support for the move. Also in the Gaza March on Independence Day in Sderot, over fifty thousand people participated to strengthen the efforts. On the evening of Tisha B'av, in the reading of the scroll of Lamentations in Tzir Netzer, many thousands of ministers and Knesset members showed up again, and proved that their commitment to settlement in Gaza is real and continuous.

The event is led by the settlement nuclei and the Nahala movement together with the religious Zionist youth, Sovereignty Youth, Gaza End, Otzma Yehudit youth and other organizations that have been working for a long time to return Jewish settlement to Gaza.

"The upcoming event, with the growing public and political support, marks a new and important stage in the struggle. The message is clear - the return to settlement in Gaza is no longer an idea, but a move that is in an advanced process with the support of the government and the public," it said.

Daniela Weiss, chairwoman of the Nachala movement, said in response to the broad support: "Throughout Zionism, parallel to the war effort comes the pioneering and settlement effort. This was the case in Beria and Barot Yitzchak. In Tel Hai and Hanita. This will also be the case in Gaza.

The support of the ministers and members of the Knesset is welcome, and it proves the tremendous support of the movement from the residents of the surrounding area and the public in Israel. As we have seen throughout history, when the public and the leadership go together, an irresistible force is created. There is no doubt that this connection will lead to the success of the settlement in Gaza."

Nathaniel Nissen, Chairman of the Religious Zionist Youth: "Today it is clear to everyone that Jewish settlement in the Gaza Strip is essential to winning the war. The language the enemy understands is only a territorial seizure, so it's time to return to the settlements of Gush Katif. We invite everyone to participate in the settlement evaluation event in the Gaza Strip on the Sukkot holiday."
